Autorenporträt
Mohammad Asafuddowlah is a poet, a former professor of English Literature, former editor of a National English Daily who had a long stint in civil bureaucracy, a national award winning musician who has authored many books of poems, both English and Bengali. His 'Pains and Panics' is a book on contemporary intellectual issues. He was also chairman of the National Radio and Television Commission. He is 84 and lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh with his wife, son, 3 daughters and 9 grandchildren.
