Brock Mays hails from Salt Lake City, Utah. He has an eternal love of all things 'nerd', ranging from Marvel and Star Wars to Lord of the Rings and Doctor Who with practically everything in between. The combination of his time living abroad in Lithuania and Finland, his passion for languages, education in international relations and linguistics, and his love of epic storytelling have all culminated in the creation of The Ascension Saga, including Embers and Ashes with the hope of continuing the epic-nerd tradition of grand storyteling. He is married to the best person on the face of the Earth, Shay.
