If they are low in energy, they will do a less vigorous practice. A restorative practice is more appealing when they are not feeling well. When stressed, they might be attracted either to a challenging practice that washes away the tension, or to a gentle practice that soothes the body/mind. All of this is common sense and instinct. The goal of this book is helping people to bring this common sense/instinct into full consciousness and to further develop it using Ayurveda. A beginning practitioner can integrate Ayurvedic principles into their learning of yoga. Autorenporträt
Faye has extensive and varied training in all aspects of yoga and has been teaching since 1988. She holds the highest certification through Yoga Alliance, is certified through the Ayurvedic Institute, was published in Light on Ayurveda and served on the board of the Minnesota Ayurveda Association. In addition to being a certified Feldenkrais® practitioner, she has trained with numerous world masters of somatic disciplines. After establishing a yoga studio in Minnesota, she moved to Mexico and opened a retreat center. For many years she taught between Mexico, USA and Canada. After 23 years of teaching asana, she developed the Fluid Strength Yoga Practice.
