Paul Keenan was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At a young age, he moved with his family to the small town of Kerkhoven, Minnesota, where he grew up. While attending high school he excelled in football and was captain of the wrestling squad. After which, he attended college, where he was bitten by the poetry bug while participating in a course on poetry writing. Since those days, he has been writing poetry. Embracing Change is his first book of poetry.
