Joe Diawo ist Doktorand in der Abteilung für landwirtschaftliche Beratung und ländliche Soziologie der Njala Universität. Derzeit ist er Dozent in der Abteilung für Community Development Studies, die er seit vier Jahren leitet. Der Autor ist Präsident der Senior Staff Association, eine Position, die er seit Februar 2017 innehat.
