Autorenporträt
Roger Sedarat is associate professor at Queens College, City University of New York, where he teaches courses in American and Middle Eastern-American literature as well as literary translation and poetry workshops in the MFA Program. He holds a PhD in English from Tufts University. His previous publications include New England Landscape History in American Poetry as well as the poetry collections including Ghazal Games. A recipient of the 2015 Willis Barnstone Prize in literary translation, his English renderings of Persian literature have appeared in such journals as Poetry, Guernica, and Brooklyn Rail.
