Autorenporträt
Retraité depuis Juillet 2015, l'ingénieur Edy Laraque se consacre à sa passion, l'écriture. Bon nombre de ses projets littéraires ont germé dans sa jeunesse. Il reçut aussi une formation en art dramaturgique. Il a publié plusieurs séries d'articles techniques sur des sujets variés: le transport, la gestion des eaux, l'énergie, le développement d'Haïti, et l'actualité politique. Il a participé à plusieurs concours d'écriture. Il a été nommé finaliste en deux occasions dont le Grand Prix Littéraire, section dramaturgie. Il a offert à ses lecteurs son premier ouvrage, Monologues à Boutillier, une ode à l'Amour Platonique en Janvier 2017. Edy a collaboré avec son amie Vertulie Vincent, l'auteure de Les Salons de Denise. Ils ont produit en novembre 2017 un chef d'oeuvre: Princesse Tulie, une célébration de la culture et des belles plages haïtiennes. Depuis 2015, Edy s'attelle à la rédaction de son super roman fiction: La Naissance Miraculeuse d'Émilie. Edy va le proposer pour en faire une production cinématographique. Edy travaille sur d'autres projets, lesquels comprennent: a) L'Odyssée d'Edy, un livre de poésie; b) L'Été Captif au Québec, un conte pour enfants; c) Le Fils de la Passion, une autobiographie; d) Survivre à l'Apocalypse, un roman futuriste; e) Non aux Célébrations Religieuses, une pièce de théâtre... et des romans dans les aventures d'Émilie.
