Meet Dr. Claudine Courey and Dr. Gabriella Courey, two sisters and optometrists who share a passion for helping children understand the importance of taking care of their eyes. Both pursued degrees in optometry and work at clinical practices based in Montreal, Canada. As they worked with more and more young patients, they noticed that many young children were anxious about their first visit to the optometrist and did not know what to expect. Drawing on their combined clinical experience, Dr. Claudine and Dr. Gabriella collaborated to write a children's book that would educate young readers about the importance of eye care and guide them through the steps of a typical eye exam.
