The requirement of emotional intelligence skills reflects the transformation of social attitudes in the field of education. It has been more than past five decades an idea of intellectual coherence was the essence of human intelligence, which were widely accepted. Emotionally intelligent teaching professionals are highly required to inculcate the quality of an educational process. Educational activities are considered as lifetime activity and teaching professionals are considered as backbone for effective educational system. The teaching professionals must have knowledge along with a set of emotional intelligence skills like empathy, self-control, optimism, stress tolerance, self-regard, flexibility, emotional awareness to handle their emotions and actions,thereby handling relationship with others smoothly by controlling their emotions.
