The academic training process of professionals in educational sciences should be conceived, in addition to the curricular approach of specific contents of this important area of knowledge, as an integral training process, taking into account aspects related to the human condition such as personal valuation, awareness, exchange and structural modification of emotions. This significant transformation is intended to enable the teaching staff and students to manage the emotional aspect in harmony, so that the conciliation of emotions and the favourable development of the socio-professional and personal are appropriately achieved. For this reason, this book deals with aspects fundamentally related to emotional intelligence as a determining aspect in the achievement of competences and its chronological role in the construction of emotions. Likewise, the relevance of the appropriate management of emotions for the progressive achievement of academic competences in a dual synergic framework between emotionality and intellectuality is addressed from different scientific criteria.
