As the son of a professional bodybuilder, Shaun Zetlin was exposed to weightlifting and exercise at a very young age. After overcoming his own physical limitations having been born with club feet and gross motor skills, coupled with a lack of confidence as a young boy, Shaun has now made it his mission in adulthood to share his passion, knowledge, and inspiration about proper fitness & health with a positive mindset to help others reach their health and fitness goals. For 16 years, Shaun has successfully run his own personal training business that includes group and corporate training along with nutrition counseling in the New York City Metro area. Able to relate and adapt to each client, Shaun prides himself on developing exercise programs and nutritional plans that address each person's individual needs, as his style is one that emphasizes proper form, patience, thoughtfulness, and passion. His clientele reflects all walks of life, from the beginner to the bodybuilder, the expectant mother, the seasoned athlete, the senior citizen, the professional dancer... Shaun's specialties include: strength & conditioning, weight loss, corrective exercise, and postural techniques. Shaun is the author of the acclaimed ""Push-up Progression"" books series that has been featured by Discovery Channel, Health.com, The Active Times, and Yahoo Health. He received his degree from the University of Delaware and holds a variety of certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). It is also with these two accredited associations since 2015, that Shaun has been a continuing education unit provider for his course, ""Push-up Progression Specialist"" based upon his books. Additionally, Shaun's work has been featured in a multitude of books, magazines, websites, television, podcasts, and radio including: Men's Journal, The Huffington Post, Demos Medical Publishing, Rodale Books, Conde Nast, Price World Publishing, Livestrong, Stack, Fitness Professional Online, the FX Channel, and Discovery Channel.
