The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and teamwork in teachers of the educational institution N° 64912-Marko Emilio Jara Schenone, Manantay-Ucayali, 2020, whose variables were theoretically based on Bar-On's model of emotional intelligence, Goleman's theory of emotional intelligence and the theory of social learning, a non-experimental study, with a correlational design, which considered as sample population 25 teachers from the study site, to whom the questionnaire was applied as a data collection instrument. Therefore, the final conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and teamwork in teachers of the educational institution No. 64912-Marko Emilio Jara Schenone, Manantay-Ucayali, 2020, since the result Rho = 0.777 and Sig.= 0.000 indicate that the correlation is positive, moderate and highly significant.
