Dr. Mabel Gonzales has over thirty-five years of experience as a classroom teacher, teacher educator, school executive, education consultant on special needs and inclusive education, and leadership coach. Mabel specialises in building the capacity of future-focused educators, teachers and school leaders to foster an understanding of the interplay of educational theories and practice. As a leadership coach, she helps school leaders and business executives to expand their perspectives on self and organisational development. She guides her clients to solve complex problems by adopting systems thinking and developing skills to understand and meet the needs of different stakeholders. She coaches her clients to develop a heightened self- and other-awareness through emotional intelligence and to build needed relationships to attain workplace alignment and personal success. Her extensive practice and experience gained through working with different school communities gives her credibility in her authorship of this book.
