Faculty members' feelings have become increasingly significant in this regard, as they play a crucial role in encouraging and assisting students in their physical and mental development. They are the moderators who facilitate the transfer of knowledge to the students, who serve as society's foundation. Without the necessary abilities, knowledge,and skills, teachers cannot be an effective source of information. Due to its significance,educators have recently paid attention to the concept of Emotional Intelligence in Educational Institutions. The study mainly aimed to find out the reasons to practice Emotional Intelligence among the Faculty Members working in Engineering Colleges, to know the level of practicing Emotional Intelligence among the Faculty Members working in Engineering colleges located in Erode District and to assess the impact of practicing Emotional Intelligence on career success among the Faculty Members working in Engineering Colleges.
