This work is part of the growing interest in the issue of entrepreneurship at the research point. As a result, we are interested in the province of Haut-Katanga in general and the commune of Lubumbashi in particular. Our starting point was an empirical observation of rising unemployment. And entrepreneurship, which proves to be one of the solutions to this scourge, has drawn our attention with a view to carrying out an in-depth study on this issue. Having reviewed an important review of the literature on entrepreneurship, our work is based on the theory of Verstraete and Fayolle, authors who articulate entrepreneurship around four main paradigms: opportunity discovery, organization creation, value creation and innovation. From our empirical results, youth entrepreneurship in the commune of Lubumbashi proves to be an effective solution to the employment crisis and could actively participate in economic growth under certain conditions including the strengthening of fiscal and administrative facilities of the private sector.
