Most of the Indian organizations offering EAP services to their employees by engaging consultancy firms. This book is based on the work done for my PhD thesis. In its introductory part, theoretical background of Employee Assistance Programme was explained. Relevant literature pertaining to the topic and the objectives of study were elaborated in detail. The design adopted for the study and the methodological aspects were discussed. Based on the information collected from the field, outcome of the study was discussed along with the direction for further research.

Dr. Gurumoorthi V is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Social Work, Madurai Institute of Social Sciences. Prof. R. Nalini, Head, Department of Social Work, Pondicherry University has more than two decades of teaching, research and administrative experience. Authored two books and published many research articles in reputed journals.
