This book explores the journey of Malaysian migrants migrating to many Western countries including Australia, following the Malaya race riots of 1969 and affirmative action. These dramatic events result in many unresolved inner issues of identity, race, culture and religion. This book proposes a case study of the Malaysian migrants' journey in Australia and how they overcome their struggles of migrant mentality and cultural conflict. The principles offered can be applicable to other cultures and migrant groups in similar circumstances. It proposes a holistic approach in addressing the needs of spirit, soul and body to achieve a well-being of resilience that withstands the pressures of modern 21st century living. This is particularly relevant in a post-Covid-19 global context. In addition to looking after ourselves, enhanced purpose in living is derived from helping others. This is more impactful when we leverage our expertise and experience in building and transforming communities particularly in remote regions.
