The entrepreneur's path can be intimidating. It will test your creativity, resilience and push you further than you thought possible. But it is also one of the most rewarding journeys you will ever make. In Do Start, Dan Kieran, self-confessed "accidental entrepreneur", co-founder and former CEO of the award-winning publishing platform Unbound, shares personal experiences and learnings as he guides you through all aspects of starting a business. Along the way, he encourages you to keep your mental health and wellbeing in check - as most founders will testify: a business that you run has a habit of running you. From the initial idea to getting started, building the brand and growing a positive working culture, through to fundraising, leadership, getting your head around financials, dealing with a board and investors, and finally, knowing when it's time to step down, Do Start is an essential read. It will be your trusted companion as you venture down the road less traveled towards the true prize waiting for you at the end: not the business you built or the money you made, but the person you become.
