To study the effects of lecithin, lysolecithin and cyclolipopeptide on broiler chicken, 420 day old commercial broiler chicks of VenCobb 400 strain of both sexes were randomly divided into four groups (one control and three treatments). The experimental groups were CS1 (Fed control diet without emulsifier, TS1 (Fed control diet with 300 gm lysolecithin/ton of feed), TS2 (Fed control diet with 500 gm cyclolipopeptide/ton of feed) and TS3 (Fed control diet with 500 gm lecithin /ton of feed). The trial was conducted under field condition with the duration of 42 days. Supplementation of cyclolipopeptide at the rate of 500 gm/ton of feed showed better performance in terms of live weight gain compared to supplementation of lysolecithin and lecithin at the rate of 300gm/ton and 500 gm/ton of feed respectively. FCR significantly improved with the supplementation of cyclolipopeptide, lysolecithin and lecithin than control. Lowest FCR was observed in cyclolipopeptide supplemented group. When economics of feeding was taken under consideration it was found that highest profit was obtained in cyclolipopeptide supplemented group followed by lysolecithin, lecithin and control groups.
