Autorenporträt
Valeria Gallo studied design at Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes. She has worked as an illustrator and animator. In 2002, she became a full-time children's book illustrator. She has published more than 40 books with a dozen Latin American publishers, and it has led to various national and international awards. In 2014, she initiated the Illustrators for Ayotzinapa movement, which brought over 400 artists together to depict the student massacre of Ayotzinapa. She is currently finishing up a Master's in design and communication.
