I also learned that through it all there were guardian angels working simultaneously for my good and protection. Each of us will encounter forces that are sent specifically to cause us to stumble, but with God's help we can endure and stand. Part of my ability to endure and stand is due to the fine tuning of my spiritual ears. I could hear and listening to the distant, calm, small, quite voice of God that speaks gently to all of us.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Verna Louise Caldwell, is a Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and author. She and her husband, Charles "Cojak" Caldwell, Sr. live in Memphis Tennessee. They are blessed with a blended family of four daughters, two sons, fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Verna serves faithfully as the Books Division Team Leader for her Church's Destiny Connect Office, ministered in song at her church and has the Spiritual Gift of Prophecy. She has written and published seven Children's Books, three books of faith and life, and assisted over 200 writers with resources that help them write, edit and self-publish their books. Verna says, we are all ambassadors of goodwill in the name of the Lord and her mission is to write stories that edify the best in us. One way of doing that is to point others in the right direction through our faith and relationship with God. The Lord Speaks, & Encounters With God and the Ungodly show that "God truly speaks to us and wants to be personally involved in our lives when we allow Him. "You will hear Him too," Verna says, "If you seek his presence, talk to Him in prayer and through meditation, be patient in your waiting, and listen." She also cautions us to be prepared to hear other voices as you wait because Satan will talk to you too. The advantage you have is that God will never contradict his Word or encourage you to sin.
