Autorenporträt
Chip Poakeart has worked on the production side of publishing for over 20 years, and decided to put his love of animals to use on the creative side. This is his first book, which was inspired by many trips to the Bronx Zoo and other zoos in the New York City area. He lives with his wife, Heidi, in Westchester County, New York. Cat Ardeleanu grew up in Brasov, a small city in Transylvania, Romania. Being surrounded by mountains, forests, and inspiring medieval architecture played an essential role in his development as a young art student. Now living in Scotland, he dedicates his days to creating cute characters and whimsical backgrounds for children's books, and spends his free time playing the guitar.
