Dental traumatology has progressed in recent years to improve the understanding of the biological considerations involved in both diagnosis and treatment principles. The management of dental injuries is an evolving science. Sometimes, accurate counseling is essential so that the parents are aware of the possible long-term consequence of the injuries if the child has damaged permanent successor teeth.
