One of the approaches is to use gas turbine advanced cycle for higher efficiency. With higher efficiency, appropriate sizing of gas turbine power plant is also important otherwise added benefit may be leveraged. In this book, we have discussed how best steam injected gas turbine power plant can be sized for optimal operation. The methodology based on pinch analysis is developed for optimal sizing of steam injected gas turbine power plant. Proposed methodology is very simple and analytical in nature. This work is definitely useful for those working in green energy and energy management.
