Martens Friesen is an Associate Professor of International Studies and History at Fresno Pacific University. He has Ph.D. in International Relations and has worked in Lebanon, Lesotho, China, India, and Vietnam. He teaches on the history and politics of energy and devises alternative energy solutions including solar power and bio-diesel.
