The Sensor Networks are resource constraint and require energy efficient design techniques to achieve desired Quality of Service (QoS) to meet end-to-end applications. In this book computational intelligent techniques are developed for simulating energy efficient Wireless Sensor Network. A monitoring system is simulated for safety measure of Liquefied Petroleum Gas Plant using wireless Sensor Network. Sensor nodes are clustered around the plant using cuckoo Search for sensing the type of fault, area of gas leakage, detection and level of leakage. The sensed data's are transmitted to the base station using Wireless HART protocol. The proposed model shows improvement in energy efficiency compared to ZigBee Protocol. The developed protocol is application independent and satisfy the prerequisite of energy efficiency with reliable data delivery.

M.Dhivya received her B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2000,2008 and 2013 respectively.
