The book analyzes energy efficiency in several electrical devices, such as motors, lighting and vehicles. David Borge-Diez is a Professor in Electrical Engineering and a member of the Intelligent Energy Management Systems research group at the University of Leon in Spain. Prof. Borge-Diez has a PhD in Energy Engineering, Masters' degrees in Industrial Technology Research and Industrial Engineering, and a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering. His work in teaching and as a researcher in focused on energy, with special emphasis in the use of unconventional energy sources an energy efficiency. For more than 8 years, he has worked in private companies nationally and internationally, developing research projects and engineering work, alongside his teaching and research in the academic environment.
