This book is about the essential knowledge that the learner of the English language as a second language must acquire within 9 months of activities within an English club. It proposes a constructivist teaching method based more on the practice of the language in group (dialogue, vocabulary, etc.) or even alone as a self-learner. It has 3 parts, composed of chapters (UNITS) and some times sections. In most chapters of the second part, you start teaching or learning with the notion « Theory ». In this section the trainer will teach scientific or pragmatic aspects of the language because it is necessary that the learner speaks correct English as formal as they can. There are key grammar notions a learner must acquire. Then, you move to the practical sections. This is about improving the languages skills. In most cases it is related to improving firstly the learner's « reading and speaking skills ». Note, several activities to be used are suggested based on the Authors' experience while attending English clubs in Gabon and online. The last part requires the learner to comment on orally the pictures which sum up the content of the book.
