As the power system demand has risen all around the world, it is needed to be controlled with stable and reliable. Likewise demand for Electricity in Myanmar is also growing rapidly year by year, thus the power system monitoring and controlling become essential in today complex power system. Without an efficient control methodology, the distribution system will not be reliable although the generation covers the maximum demand. As our country, Myanmar, is a developing country, it has to enhance Power Distribution Substation so that they can be controlled reliable firstly. The SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) provides the remote operation, control and monitoring for industrial automation and it is also widely used for overall operation of modern power system. In my book, the enhancement of 230 kV Tharkayta Distribution Substation and 230 kV Hlawga Distribution Substation is carried out by using SCADA System.

Dr. Ei Mon Mon Aung is a Sub-Assistant Engineer at Ministry of Electric and Energy, Myanmar. She got her BE and ME (Electrical Power) Degrees from Technological University (Thanlyin) in 2007 and 2011. She finished her PhD program from Yangon Technological University (YTU) in 2017,March. She interest in Power System Automation by using SCADA System.
