Five singles from this album hit the number-one spot in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart: "Si Tú Te Vas", "Experiencia Religiosa", "Por Amarte", "No Llores Por Mí" and "Trapecista", the most for any Latin album, breaking previous record held by Selena and Jon Secada with four chart toppers. The track "Inventame" was re-recorded in 1999 by his writer Marco Antonio Solís and was included on the album Trozos de MiAlma. This version peaked at number 36 in the Hot Latin Tracks chart.
