The research is situated in the obligation theory advanced by Nockerts, Regina, and Peter Van Arsdale. The theory of obligation is based on one important assumption which states that there exists a moral request or command forSociety's wealthy individuals to assist those who are structurally deprived of their possession, property, freedom and functionally maltreated in one way or the other.
