Entrepreneurship as a "way of thinking" today is one of the key areas of action of market economy systems and their governments with a view to providing a more favorable environment for the development of entrepreneurial potential that will contribute to employment growth and stabilization of other macroeconomic aggregates. In this context, the position of entrepreneurs is extremely important, from perception to concrete economic benefits. This publication looks at the basic principles of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship. In the second part of the publication, different models of entrepreneurship are considered and an assessment of the importance of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in the future is given. The special contribution of this publication relates to the analysis of strategic problems for entrepreneurship development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a transitional country, where all barriers and entrepreneurship potentials are presented. This publication is intendedfor use at universities, in order to overcome the basic set of entrepreneurship, but also for potential investors in the BiH area.
