A K Pandey and Indu Varshneya present their extensive work on native and exotic strains of Entomopathogenic Fungi through texts, photographs and statistical tables. This includes: Host specificity of Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae against different insect species like Spodoptera litura (Fabricius), Spilosoma obliqua (Walker), Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner), Ergolish species and Lipaphis erysimi (Kalt.); Effect of temperature on insecticidal property of B. bassiana and M. anisopliae; Mass multiplication of Entomopathogenic Fungi and their pathogenicity test; Entomopathogenic fungal formulation with different carriers and viability of spore under storage at different temperatures; Effects of different pesticides on growth, sporulation and germination of conidia of B. bassiana and M. anisopliae. This piece of work is helpful for students of masters in Agriculture Entomology and Pathology as well as research scholars in the field of Agriculture Entomology and Pathology especially Biological control of insect pests.
