Agriculture sector plays a crucial role in removal of poverty by providing employment and entrepreneurial opportunities from its various components. In the agriculture sector, majority of the farmers had medium level of entrepreneurial behaviour in components wise like innovativeness, marketing orientation, decision making, knowledge of vegetable farming, achievement motivation, cosmopolitness, and leadership ability. High cost of inputs, price fluctuation in the market and lack of sufficient training programmes were major problems for their entrepreneurship development. To increase the price of the produce and the subsidy amount were the suggestions to sustain their entrepreneurial behaviour. Successful farm entrepreneurs show the source of inspiration and motivation to farmers, farm women, farm youths and agricultural graduates to be an entrepreneur.
