Entrepreneurial Climate: Trends and Patterns in Macedonia focuses on the topic of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial climate in Macedonia today with special attention to demographic breakdown on entrepreneurial indicators. The aim of this research is to study the development of entrepreneurship in the world, the development of entrepreneurship in Macedonia (as a part of Yugoslavia and as an independent country), to observe factors that are triggering and fueling entrepreneurial mindsets and what makes people want to become entrepreneurs. It provides an extensive literature review and data on public opinions on issues like entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial education, risk-taking, job creation, start-ups, SMEs, obstacles to entrepreneurship, and business success and failure. Namely, a survey was conducted on the territory of Macedonia and wide-ranging data was obtained.

Elena Klisarovska, PhDc at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, is a lecturer at University American College Skopje and she teaches Business Communication and Business Plan, Proposal and Report writing at undergraduate and graduate level. Her areas of research interest are SMEs, Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship.
