In carrying out this work, we have taken as our starting point certain social realities that exist in our communities. With this in mind, we have endeavored to provide answers to the question of whether the cultural trend generally observed in certain communities around the world, and specifically in Goma, does not require certain actions that would justify the effectiveness of AJPC's "kujitegemea" production capacity in the socio-economic life of Goma? Using analytical, descriptive, historical and indirect observation methods, backed up by interview and documentary techniques, we came up with some important facts to bear in mind. Only 1% of the population has access to banking services, compared with an average of 6% in Central Africa. With a development index of 0.304, the country was ranked last according to the 2013 United Nations Human Development Report. Current trends show that the DRC is unlikely to achieve most of the MDGs.
