Michael LaVan AKA Pop, The Nickname was given to him by his parents when younger but he then turned the acronym to stand for Passion Over Power. That is the way that he approaches all business ventures. He lives by the motto of finding what you love and then finding ways to make income from it. It's not about the power of being an entrepreneur but the way to succeed doing what you love. Pop has considered himself an Entrepreneur since he was 20 years old owning an independent Record Label. He managed some artists, producers and a DJ then turned that into an Event promotions business in his early 20's. A Few years later after growing past that phase of his life he then turned that same hustle and motivation into creating his Real Estate Empire. Becoming one of Orange County NY's Top Realtors in a short period of time, he also owns a Real Estate Investment Company Called Homes BY LV LLC, A Contracting Company Called HLV Contractors and Michael LaVan Inc which his is property management firm. His plan was to cover all aspects of the Real Estate Industry and not need the middleman. Aside from all this he also has self Published two books under For The Win Publishing called "I Got The Keys" Step By Step Guide for First Time Homeowners and just recently released his second book called "Entrepreneurs Overdraft Fees" Going From The Red To The Black For The Essential Hustler. The First book is the complete guide from beginning to end to anyone looking to purchase their first time and the second is the complete ups and downs of Entrepreneurs and what everyone s should know when taking the path to achieving their goals. From all the experience that he has had over being an Entrepreneur and Business Owner has made him appreciate the journey more and continue to strive to do what he loves.
