We have therefore carefully studied the Nigerian Civil Service retirement process and made suggestions which can empower the retiree, enhance his well-being and affect the national economy on a positive note .

Dr Udofot lectures at the University of Uyo where he obtained a PhD degree in Business Management. Earlier, He studied at Odessa School of Economics, Ukraine and the University of Benin in Nigeria. He has published in many national and international journals and has consulted on various aspects of entrepreneurship. He is married with a daughter.
