Chris Boulton has over 10 years of experience in venture capital and private equity spanning from the UK to Japan and South East Asia. He has experience of working closely with management teams in a broad range of situations including technology and non-technology management start-ups, expansion, succession, and restructuring. He now has his own company based in Singapore where he takes a keen interest in issues facing SME management teams as they plan to expand and restructure their businesses - working on venture capital and private equity projects as well as being involved in government initiatives on SME development and financing.

Professor Turner's career includes seven years with the UK chemical company, ICI and ten years with Levi Strauss Europe. He left Levi's in order to launch his own clothing marketing company, after which he subsequently acquired and managed another small company, both in Spain. Since 1999 he has been Adjunct Professor at INSEAD in the area of entrepreneurship, specifically teaching MBA courses on acquisitions and new business creation. He also acts as Programme Director for two executive education programmes: the Owner-Directors' Programme, and a programme specially developed for the Singapore Venture Capital Association.
