This book analyses the environment, development and social justice. It is a study of a community in the municipality of Cantá - Roraima - Brazil, which lives off clay extraction for the production of ceramics (bricks). The aim was to see how these rights are reconciled in the specific case of the community studied. The book takes a critical approach to the law and draws attention to the symbolic construction that hinders the interpretation of reality and makes the feeling of autonomy and freedom conceal the real exploitation in which the workers in the researched community live.
