This is 1 of 10 debatable topics that can be used in a flipped learning class. Flipped learning is on the rise in education. This module is designed for that specific learning model. Students have access to videos to watch at home or online. quizzes are interactive and available online. Debate and critical thinking are at the center of the course. It is easy to teach when students have made a bit of an effort to prepare. Preparing at home with short videos makes class time more efficient. Setting the debate as the end activity develops both individual and groups dynamics to grow. A teacher's version is available to make the choice of topic easier to fit different interests. In this module, students begin perusing ideas garnered from a title. The story follows with a URL for review of the original. There are 10 videos to watch. Each has a tab in the book to enable better speed control and discussion. Each section moves the students toward the goal of a debate about the issue in the story.
