Produktbeschreibung
The port of Manaus Moderna, built at the beginning of the 20th century, has a very precarious working dynamic for port workers. There is an intense port flow of vessels of various sizes that are responsible for a complex of commercial activities such as fairs and markets. Within this context, there has always been the figure of the baggage handler, who has historically fought for space in the ports of Manaus. They are therefore part of the city's memory, yet they remain forgotten and don't even appear in the statistics of Manaus' informal workers. In view of this, this study aimed to get to know the dockworker, correlate the port environment and its production process with environmental risk factors and associated problems, and draw up a booklet to prevent these risks. This was a descriptive quantitative cross-sectional study using a questionnaire, where the data collected served as the basis for the study and for educational measures to contribute to the work of these dockworkers
