Extensive research work has been conducted on environmental education related issues especially on environmental awareness and how awareness leads to action. However, with the democratization of education the concept of inclusion requires that the education of children belonging to different categories should be taken into account. As such, the mainstreaming of challenged children and their development and growth must be given equal importance. In this context, the environmental awareness and related attitude of the challenged children is a subject of study which has much relevance. It is expected that challenged children especially visually impaired children are often sensitive and correct environmental action and attitude is often based on environmental sensitivity.This is why I have chosen this field of research and hope to find out important facts in this regard.
