Jenesio Kinyamario teaches environmental studies at the University of Nairobi, in Kenya. He received a BSc (Biology) from University of Nairobi, an MSc (Range Sciences) from Texas A&M University and a PhD (Plant Ecology) at University of Nairobi. His research focuses on ecology of East African ecosystems, and in particular semi-arid grasslands.
