Surveys of young people in several countries report generally low levels of factual knowledge relating to environmental issues. Examples include students confusing ideas about phenomena such as greenhouse effect and ozone depletion, or displaying poor understanding of processes such as melting or recycling. Amidst numerous, growing and complex environmental problems, Scholars believe that Environmental Education has enormous influencing role in forming people's knowledge and attitude, and is highly practical in motivating to improve and protect environment.
