Endocrine disruptors are an important issue in the environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology. Hormones regulate numerous biological processes and evaluation of the whole organism response provides more realistic information on physiological and developmental processes that may be directly or indirectly affected by endocrine-disrupting compounds. More research is needed to study effect of EDCs on these three Bioassays (D.magna, X. laevis, L. minor. However, to assess effect of EDCs on bioassay more than one endpoint should be considered.
