Deprivation of liberty exposes major behavioral problems in animals around the world's zoos. The implementation of environmental enrichment is ideal to safeguard animal welfare in specialized wildlife centers. For this reason, the present systematic review was carried out with the purpose of selecting relevant data about the normal behavior of ocelots (Leopardus pardalis), in order to propose a proposal for environmental enrichment in them, allowing them to promote physical activity and reduce stereotypies or avoid their occurrence. For this purpose, the PRISMA methodology was used, based mainly on ScienceDirect, ACADEMIA, ZSL online library as databases used, in addition to the selection of relevant documents published since 2005. In the first instance, 55 articles were selected, of which 34 were discarded with the application of inclusion criteria filters and PRISMA, giving a total of 21 articles approved and reviewed.
