This book illustrates the development, implementation and evaluation of national environment and health action plans (NEHAP) using the example of the Swiss NEHAP, which focused on three thematic areas (housing, transport and nutrition and agriculture). On this topic, the book presents the results of a study on perceived housing quality and wellbeing carried out in Switzerland. It also summarizes the approach and results of the evaluation of the Swiss NEHAP and draws conclusions for the national level. The book also takes an international perspective through a comparison with WHO's environment and health indicators. This book contains methodological aspects as well as indications for practice.
