Menstruation, like other physiological processes of our body, is necessary and cannot be avoided. If the practices during this period are unhygienic, it may lead to fatal diseases such as cervical cancer and toxic shock syndrome. Also, with the increasing population, the disposal of used menstrual products is becoming a major issue. In this study, the level of awareness and menstrual hygiene as well as disposal practices of the females of Anand district was analyzed using Predictive Analytics Software (PASW). The fate of menstrual waste and the effect of such waste of the health of waste handlers was also studied by arranging meetings with the municipal corporation of Anand.
