The socio-economic development of countries with mining resources in considerable quantity and quality, such as ours, necessarily involves the rational development of these resources. Like all sciences, mining is a set of complex technological processes with which engineers are confronted. To seek to know the causes of a phenomenon and to try to explain them on the one hand, and on the other hand to know a technology and to adapt it to the concrete realities, i.e. to know how to link its intellectual capacity to its social environment and to nature constitutes here the imperatives which motivate the commitment of the author.
